Jim Keaty is the Owner and Broker of Keaty Real Estate, established in 2004. He was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and is married to Danielle Chastant Keaty. Together they have three children Mae, Josephine "Joey," and James Keaty II.

Jim graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with an emphasis in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002 and graduated from American Real Estate College in Westminster, Colorado. He worked for Coldwell Banker in Westminster, Colorado, from 2002-2004.

Jim, established Keaty Real Estate in 2004, helping their clients buy and sell over 6,000 properties totaling over 1.4 Billion dollars in Volume right here in Acadiana. Keaty Real Estate has over 70 agents in Acadiana and has recently expanded to New Orleans and the North Shore, where they have opened their newest branch office in Covington, Louisana. Jim graduated from the Lafayette Leadership program and the Louisiana Realtor Leadership program and is a recipient of the 30 under 40 award.

He participates in numerous philanthropic activities and several civic organizations and boards.
